Kia ora koutou
I am delighted to announce that the NZLLA is offering 6 scholarship opportunities for members to attend the NZLLA Conference, 18-19th September in Auckland.
While full programme details are still to be published, I can offer a taste of what members can look forward to. There will be some great sessions including whanaungatanga and tikanga Māori, LIANZA Te Tōtara Workforce Capability, how to implement GenAI tools in your workplace and the role of law librarians in an AI world. There will also be practical and informative sessions on industry focused topics including NZLII enhancements and the NZLS member survey.
Members are encouraged to apply for the following:
1. Three scholarships of up to $1000. These are for members who reside outside of the Auckland region to assist with the costs of registration, air travel and accommodation.
2. Three scholarships covering the conference registration fee only. These are open for any member to apply for, whether in Auckland or elsewhere.
Attending conferences is a fantastic way to build networks within the profession and to build on your professional knowledge and practice. Scholarships are one of the great (and many) benefits of being a NZLLA member.
Scholarship applications close 5pm Friday 9 May.
