NZLLA Conference 2017 Call for Abstracts

Posted 30/03/2017

The New Zealand Law Librarians’ Conference Committee is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for the NZLLA Conference 2017 which will be held at the Boatshed, Wellington from Thursday 7th to Friday 8th September.

Our theme for 2017 is Embracing the future: diversity and innovation.  Join us to explore the challenges facing our profession and to celebrate innovation, creativity and diversity within our workplaces.

We welcome abstract submissions for presentations of either 30 or 45 minutes duration.  We will also be running 10-15 minute lightning sessions for colleagues who wish to share experiences, projects, or new innovations.  So if you feel nervous about committing to a longer session, this may be for you.

Abstracts should be no more than 250 words in length and should outline the main idea you wish to present. Please indicate the format of your presentation (ie presentation 30/45 minutes or lightning session).

Please send your submissions to Sara Roberts sara.roberts@canterbury.ac.nz by Monday 1 May 2017. Successful applicants will be contacted by mid May.

We look forward to hearing from you!
